I am a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, with research interests in applied microeconomics, public economics and health economics. My research leverages causal inference methods and large-scale dataset to study how consumers and private insurers respond to the government policies in the U.S. health care market. My research provides empirical evidence to inform the design of public policies that enhance efficiency and equity in the U.S. health care market, contributing to improve social welfare.
